I'm having a pretty uneventful life right now. My hair are still growing and they're growing quite fast although right now, I'm feeling like a chia pet!
As far as radiation goes, it's not so bad. Nausea is done, funky taste in my mouth hasn't happened yet this week so those lovely side effects look like they might be things of the past. We'll see... Fatigue seems to hit as soon as I leave the building, but then it's like a roller coaster with highs & low of fatigue. Overall, it's not so bad, but I'm doing my share of yawning. I have never yamned that much in my life before. My skin isn't too bad either, it's definately getting red, but right now it's still pink. I can cleary see the entire area being radiated, I'll spare you thye picture ;)
Luckily, I get a break on weekends and we've been trying to have fun with the kids. Last weekend, we took them skating with friends, they had a great time. It's nice to be able to slowly get back to normal life after all this.
17 down, 16 to go... Half way there :)

Hi Caroline, you're looking beautiful as ever and the hair is coming along nicely! You can just sleep in that T-shirt, but I thought it was cute since you were so strong about it! I admire your strength and perseverance..I hope you continue to get stronger and stronger..thinking of you daily and sending you big hugs and a "happy mothers day"...love, "angel" suzanne
Hi,
I wondered how long it was after chemo that your hair started to grow? I am on epi-ruebison and when I go onto cmf the docs said my hair will grow back. I have my last epi on 21st May and I was wondering when I would notice a change??
You are beautiful by the way, I wished I looked like you
Halfway there! Yay landmark! :)
Caroline, you have a beautiful smile that I can be more than sure is a reflection of your personality. I have said it before you look lovely with or without hair...
my chemo begins next Wed...being bald here I come.....
Love Alli.xx
Thanks everyone for the wonderful comments & compliments :)
Sara - My hair started growing right after they fell! Everyone is different, I was on TC and some of the ladies went completely bald on TC. I kept shaving to get rid of the white fuzz, which I did, then it fell again after my last chemo.. figures!
Alli - You're so sweet. Good luck with chemo. We all did it. You can do it!
Isa - Ben oui, mon coprs est toujours enfle, ca l'ai que c'est du gras.. haha! Bonne chance avec la cigarette.
